BARONS 8 BOMBERS 5
The Barons rode a Justin Lee bases loaded triple to victory. Isiah Bowens drove a two out triple to give the Barons the early 4-0 lead in top of the first. Starting pitcher John Boire managed to hold the heavy hitting bomber attack at bay until the bottom of the sixth inning when they tied the score at five. Justin Lee then delivered a two out bases loaded triple to plate all three Barons in the top of the seventh. With the score at 8-5 in favor of the Barons reliever Mike Buck gave the ball to Aaron Knapp who pitched a scoreless seventh for the save. For the weekend Knapp pitched six innings allowing one earned run while collecting a win and a save. Offensive standouts for the game were Bowens 2-4 with a triple, Lee 2-2 with a triple, and Knapp who went 2-4.
