BARONS FINISH THIRD IN TRIPLE CROWN WORLD SERIES

The Barons battled the heat and the odds and although they failed to capture their second World Series title they returned home winners.  Thier heart, desire, passion, and grit were readily visible on thier blood and sweat stained uniforms.  They left all they had on the field and accepted the third place trophy with both dissappointment and honor.  It has been a long season that saw both triumph and defeat.  We are proud of  them all, and would not trade a single moment.  This group should not be remembered as a team.  They have been a family.  No matter where the future takes them I hope that each of them will look back on this season with pride and the realization that they were part of somthing special.

This is a GREAT group of guys. It will be for me to forget about each of each and every one of you. This year was a great time for me from loses to wins they were a team, not just a team more like a family, or at least to me it was. From, outrageous Alec, to super quite Josh. They all make this team what it is today. A fun group that could and will be whatever they whish to be, if they wish to keep playing ball or go on to different things. I know that when I get older I will hear about each of you and will be saying to myself ââ& #130;¬Å& #147;Hey I grew up with him.ââ& #130;¬Â& #157; And each and every one of you has thought me something different. The coaches are a big part of this team they tell them what to do, theyââ& #130;¬â& #132;¢re what the guys need to keep them in line, when they need it. The trip that was just taken by the barons thought us all a lot, from being nervous to being proud. I love this team and everything that come with it from all parents to all the players they all make this team, and everything I love about it. They are what a lot of my life is and thatââ& #130;¬â& #132;¢s why I love it so much from finding out what new players we get to what players are moving, and leaving. The thought of them braking up, just kills me I have known many of them for a long time maybe even to long what can I say. They are family, like having about 15 older brothers that are 15-17 itââ& #130;¬â& #132;¢s a pain but theyââ& #130;¬â& #132;¢re worth it. Every minute of it. But at times they can get a little protective, if you know what I mean. I would like to end this little message saying ââ& #130;¬Å& #147; I will miss this year but, looking forward to next year. And to just say something I have been saying all year all ââ& #130;¬Å& #147;thatââ& #130;¬â& #132;¢s how we roll.ââ& #130;¬Â& #157; Madison Knapp (Maddy) P.S I like that feeling that knowing if anyone did anything that I have a bunch that have my back. And each and everyone of you did a FANTASTIC job in "TRIPLE CROWN WORLD SERIES" each of you did you own part to help that team out.

I've been with the Barons organization since the very beginning. Anyone that was on that first years team knows that we have done great things from that time through now! We have all grown stronger in our abilities on the field. We also have been molded in tremendous young men due to the warm environment that our family, our Baron family, has created! When I look at this picture of us in Colorado, it reminds me of the movie "The Sandlot." If you are not familiar it takes a picture like this and it goes around to each player and says what they were doing with their lives! I can see myself doin that with this picture! Remembering all the great times that we had, playin the game that we all love, with a family bond that can never be broken! John (Jaboo, Johnboy, BOIRE, Johnny) P.S. Can't wait for next year!!!!!
  • Room on Roster?

My son, George Garduno, is looking for a baseball team. Is there any room on your roster? Are you having tryouts? He is 16 (turns 17 on July 5th) and a junior at Wilson High School in Tacoma. He plays catcher and 3rd base. Thank you, Jeanine
