Barons Blog

Howard Bowens has accepted a scouting position with the Major League Scouting Bureau.  Howard will be responsible for the Northern California Region.   In 2002 the Barons were founded to represent Howard's Triple Play Academy.  Since the team's inception he has long been an integral part of the Barons' growth and development.  Howard has been a mentor, teacher, and foremost a friend.  His contributions will be sorely missed.  Nonetheless, this is a great opportunity for a very deserving man.  Howard will be relocating to Sacramento on March 17th.  He plans to return to Washington for the off season.  Good luck Howard, you will be missed.
