Barons centerfielders do damage in SPSL
Logan Bushnell of Emerald Ridge and Sean Montplaisir both produced in a big way today. In front of scouts from Cincinnati, Boston, Minnesota, Tampa Bay, Los Angles, and the Major League Scouting Bureau, Montplaisir went 2-3 and hit a three run homer in the first inning to derail Auburns undefeated season. Additionally, Sean played a great outfield and displayed an above average arm to all of the scouts in attendance. Sean has commited to play for Hawaii next season. Logan Bushnell has been swinging a torrid bat lately. Since March 21 st Logan is 11-13 producing two doubles, a triple, and three homers while driving in seven runs. Today he capped a dream streak by hitting for the cycle in a losing effort to Bethel. His home run in the third inning tied the school record for dingers.
