BARONS WIN TOURNAMENT OPENER
The Barons won the opening game of the Fathers Day Tournament by defeating the South Hill Stingers 8-0. The Barons' defense and pitching continues to win games. Tonight Sean Goforth earned his second shut and the Baron defense turned two more double plays. Right fielder Justin Lee threw out a Stinger baserunner at home plate with a beatuiful throw. The team did not commit an error in the contest. The offensive star of the day was Logan Bushnell who collected three RBI, on three hits to include a pair of doubles. They will play the second game of the tournament a Herritage Park tommorow night at 8:00 pm.
