Wine in the Woods
Well the Wine in the Woods festival in Columbia was this past weekend. This is the first festival of the wine festival season........Saturday the weather was just beautiful with over 17 thousand people coming through the gate......it seemed the lines for tastings and sales never stopped all day......On Sunday the weather was a little on the wet side but the turnout was still pretty good considering
The wines that really seemed to get the most attention from under our tent were the new arrivals of Pinot Grigio and Sangiovese...........While the Blueberry and Blush also seemed to crowd favorites this year.
Next up is the Chesapeake Bay wine festival in Queen Anne's county May 31 & June 1, 2008 .
