Jakob's Journal

We're a day late with posting Easter greetings, I hope that nobody minds!  Jakob is a crazy-man and keeping us very busy!  This picture is of him in his Easter suit that his Grammy gave him.

We also learned last week that Jakob's future sibling-to-be will be a sister!  She is due August 22nd as a reminder.  She will also be born with a cleft lip and palate (though unilateral whereas Jakob's was bilateral).  We know that Jakob is going to be a great big brother and will help his sister get through the tough surgeries that she will go through!

Thank God for good health insurance and amazing doctors like the team at Children's, that's all I have to say!

What an amazing year this little man has had, we couldn't be prouder of him!

His birthday party will be tomorrow, but we have a fun day planned for today too!  First, a playdate with some friends and then we plan to take him out for dinner tonight somewhere where the waitstaff will clap and sing to him!!!
