What is it?

In the Gallery you can categorize your Pictures, Videos and Audios into online albums. One album has pictures and videos from your vacation, another from your sister's wedding. Then there are the audio files of your favorite songs. Scanning in old family photos of your Great Grandparents? Gallery is a safe way to keep these priceless photos for in a place where all to see. Perfect for another album. Each album can contain hundreds of media files on Journal's secured servers.

How Do I Get There?

Navigating to Gallery
  • Click the Gallery tab.
Tips and How To's

There are two steps to creating an Album:

  1. Create the Album.
  2. Upload the Media into the Album.

Add an Album
  1. Click the Gallery tab.
  2. Click Add Album.
  3. Type the Album Name.
  4. Type the Album Description.
  5. Press Publish

Add Media
  • Press Add Media.
  • See Add Media for step by step instructions to the Media Menu.

Edit a Media File Name

So you take a great picture with your digital camera and when it gets loaded onto your computer, it gives you a name like: "0705505-R1-034-15A.jpg". Not a name that provokes fond memories of that great sailboat trip!

To change any media file name, do the following:

  1. Press the Gallery Tab.
  2. Click on the album where the picture resides.
  3. Click on the picture to be renamed.
  4. Click Edit. The edit box will open.
  5. Type the Name of the media file.
  6. Press Publish..

Add a Description to the Media file:

  1. Press the Gallery Tab.
  2. Click on the album where the picture resides.
  3. Click on the picture to be renamed.
  4. Click Edit. The edit box will open.
  5. Type the Description of the media file.
  6. Press Publish..
Tip: When adding or editing either Albums, or Media File Names, you can change the font, size and color of the description
by pressing the "Show Text Tools" link, which will open a text editing toolbar. When you are finished, press "Hide Text Tools."
Tip: Descriptions to Media files will only appear on the Photo Memory Home Page.

Delete an Album

  1. Press the Gallery Tab.
  2. Click the Album to be deleted.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Press Delete.

Delete a Media File

  1. Press the Gallery Tab.
  2. Click the Album with the picture to be deleted.
  3. Click the Picture.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Press Delete.

Viewing Albums

There are two ways to View your Albums. You can view your albums by scrolling the main view of your albums or by clicking on the icon listing to the left.

What is it?

Gallery Tools allows you to easily copy, move or delete selected photos within an album.

How Do I Get There?

  1. Click on the Gallery tab
  2. Click on the album you would like to edit
  3. After selecting the photo via check box, take one of the actions in the left hand column: Copy, Move or Delete.

Tips and How To's

  • To delete photos using the Gallery Tools
    • Click on the check box of the photo(s) you would like to delete
    • Click “Delete Selected” in the Gallery Tools to the left
  • To move photos using Gallery Tools
    • Click on the check box of the photo(s) you would like to move
    • Click on “Move Selected”, then select the album you would like to move the photos to in the drop down list
  • To copy photos using Gallery Tools
    • Click on the check box of the photo(s) you would like to copy
    • Click on “Copy Selected”, then select the album you would like to copy the photos to in the drop down list
  • To rename an album or photo
    • Click the text or space beneath the album or photo
    • Type the desired name
    • Click the button to the right or click on any area outside the text box
